Latitude Festival has announced the Lake Stage line-up for this year’s event. Carefully selected by the Welsh radio presenter Huw Stephens, acts who will appear in this most beautiful of settings on the festival site will include the London rapper Loyle Carner, a young man who talks openly about issues closest to his home and heart; Billie Marten, the supremely talented singer-songwriter and musician from Ripon in North Yorkshire; London’s self-described melody-maker, mover ‘n’ shaker, Oscar; a couple of Welsh artists whose stars are firmly in the ascendency, Meilyr Jones and Estrons; plus two further acts whose careers are also clearly on the rise, The Big Moon and Fickle Friends.
Adding even more musical diversity to the Lake Stage bill will be Danish pop-experimentalists Liss who will be making their Latitude debut alongside fellow Scandinavians, the Icelandic trio Samaris. Other acts who will also be performing at Latitude Festival for the very first time will include the Saddleworth starlet Kiran Leonard, London-based duo The Rhythm Method; and highly-regarded Glaswegian songstress and Lost Map recording artist Martha Ffion
