Manchester’s electro-pop darlings Girl Friend – and a favourite of GIITTV – recently released their first new track for 2016, a collaboration with producer Lvther and is part of an upcoming EP expected in March. The EP is a series of collaborations with producers and DJs.
‘Waste My Time’ is a catchy, sunshine-soaked, excitable track; and it’s perfect for Spring! Girl Friend waste none of their own time – or anyone else’s – launching straight into an upbeat track, hooking the listener from the first note of that cheery intro. This is an absolute, unashamed and massive slice of electro-pop. Shake off the dust, say hello to the sunshine and throw some shapes to ‘Waste My Time’ – you won’t regret it! If this is merely a sniff of whatever it is Girl Friend have in store for 2016, then things are set to become very exciting indeed!
