Astonishingly, more than a decade has passed now since Norwegian duo Ost & Kjex released their magically titled debut album, Some But Not All Cheese Comes From The Moon (which, lest we forget, consisted entirely of music that originated from cheese and biscuits).
Luckily though, the five year hiatus since their last release – Cajun Lunch – seems to have both revitalised and rejuvenated them, with the help of Harry’s Gym‘s frontwoman Anne Lise Frøkedal.
‘Le Mur De Pierre’ is a ridiculously infectious, Hot Chip like killer dancefloor tune that won’t leave your head, and instead will have you grooving like a manic Elmer Fudd is shooting randomly at your feet. The song comes from the pair’s lengthy but highly entertaining new album, Freedom Wig, out now on DIYnamic. Well worth your time and effort.
