On 11th December the Cardiff trio, Houdini Dax will join refugee music collective Stone Flowers as part of a fundraising show in aid of Music Action International (MAI), Manchester charity supporting individuals and communities devastated by war, armed conflict and war.
Following a successful album launch held at the Amnesty International HQ in London earlier this year, Stone Flowers will perform in their adopted home city at Manchester Club Academy.
“The message given out by the Stone Flowers is extremely moving and very important, and we’re over the moon to be involved with Music Action International,” said lead singer and guitarist Jack Butler. “It’s the first gig we’ve played of this kind and we know it’ll be a great night.” Since the release of their Welsh Music Prize nominated album Naughty Nation, Houdini Dax have acquired a reputation as one of the most enthralling, infectious and energetic new live bands.
Listen to Houdini Dax’s latest single ‘Found Love in the Dole Office’, out on 27th November 2015.
