Opening in a slight dirge-like fashion, Fable‘s ‘I Am You’ is constantly surprising as it twists and turns and changes direction every now and then, right from the start. It’s hard to pin it down and figure it out completely, but that’s part of its charm. One thing’s for sure, it’ll certainly bring some much needed and wanted fun to an otherwise dreary October day, its final moments begging for you to dance as though your soul and your sanity depends on it.
‘I Am You’ is the first single to be taken from her debut album, but as yet, there’s no official release date, other than Soon; the album is due in early 2016. If this is merely a small piece of what’s to come from the 20-year-old with a voice that belies her years, you’d do well to keep track of Fable and whatever else it is she has to offer.
