This affecting, fleeting looping instrumental is laced with shivering electronic loops, neo classical piano dapples and spiralling harmonics: that cluster together to create an enveloping atmosphere that reminds one of Nils Frahm‘s best works. It’s an example of the influence the minimal compositions of Terry Riley and Philip Glass have had on Findlay’s third solo album ‘Slow Light’ out September 25 in the UK.
