There’s more to Edinburgh in August than just Edinburgh International Festival. If you get tired of the myriads of tourists and street performers, our tip is take a trip to Penicuik for a brand new hairy comedy and music all-dayer organised by one of the GIITTV’s favourite labels, Lost Map.
Only in its second year, Lost Map Records has had a very busy year with new much-loved releases from Tuff Love and Rozi Plain as well as a forthcoming fresh EP from Seamus Fogarty, who has already been confirmed as part of the Howlin’ proceedings.
A satellite and sister event to Howlin’ Fling! Festival – debuted on the label’s home of the Isle of Eigg last July will return in the summer of 2016 – Howlin’ Fringe! promises to pack all the incredible sounds, belly laughs, quality food and drink and miscellaneous surprises that have become synonymous with Lost Map.
