Nigel Thomas’ voice may at first seem way too clean for such a dirty laid back track like ‘Fever’. It’s only when the delay warps his words, the tune gets filthier, it’s apparent we’re listening to a well-crafted corruption. Very earthy, and if you love Lennon-esqe vocal phrasing and tone then this song is for you. In fact, this track might conjure up an acid dream memory of Gaz Coombes’ first solo album ‘Here Come the Bombs’. Check out the video, but be warned. Inexplicable macabre events lie beyond the click of the play icon. Psycho, eat your heart out.
