NEWS: more names added to the Arts line up for Latitude Festival 2015

header-pic-2015-02-23Location: Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk
Dates: 16th – 19th July 2015

Following on from last month’s announcements, and to add to what is an already incredibly strong line-up, Latitude has today revealed details of yet more names who will appear at this year’s 10th annual festival.

The Arts Arenas will be further strengthened by the presence of the Sadler’s Wells presentation of Titanium – a wonderful fusion between flamenco and street dance – on the festival’s picturesque Waterfront stage; Chris Goode and theatre-newsCompany (a collaboration between lead artist Chris Goode, producer Ric Watts, writer and critic Maddy Costa), who will be premiering their work STAND, a representation of “real life stories of courage and conscience from Oxford residents who stood up for something, or someone, they believed in”; and West Yorkshire Playhouse’s presentation of Avocado by the Tony Award-winning playwright Eve Ensler.

Amongst many notable others, the already prestigious ranks of the Comedy Stage will be further swelled by Irish stand-up comedian Andrew Maxwell, fellow Irishman Jason Byrne and the English writer, comedian and actor Russell Kane.

And the Literary and Poetry stages of the Latitude Festival will welcome the celebrated playwright, screenwriter, novelist and film-maker Hanif Kureishi, the Hampshire folk-punk artist Frank Turner, and bestselling author Matt Haig, who will appear alongside Andrew Marr and Kate Fox, Kate Mosse and Dr John Mullan and the V&A’s presentation of Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

Is it any wonder that the 10th edition of Latitude Festival promises to be its biggest and best yet?
