To herald the arrival of their third long player, Israel’s Tiny Fingers have just unveiled a new video to accompany album teaser ‘The Fall.’ Taken in splendid isolation, the audio track is a nagging, swirling meteorite of sound; an incessant fragment of post-galactic space-rock that just keeps on gathering momentum in a flurry of scuzzy guitar, electronics and percussion until it finally burns itself out and falls back down to earth.
When harnessed to its visual counterpart, ‘The Fall’ becomes something altogether more unsettling; the bleakness of just another day is quickly and without warning transformed into an extraordinary experience, an exercise in pursuit, paranoia and unexplained fear.
Tiny Fingers’ as yet untitled third album is due for release in July via Anova Music.
Ahead of its release, the band play two UK shows:
22nd May – Liverpool Sound City
24th May – The Stillery, Camden, London
