Avec Sans have been around for a couple of years. In that time, Alice and Jack have seen their reputation grow, as purveyors of clever-cool words and beats, enough so that they regularly find themselves popping over to Italy to do a bit of DJ-ing for a fashion house or two.
If this makes them seems insouciant, flippant, that’s very far from the case: their dance tinged electronica comes with words that have the power to move.
New single ‘Resonate’ has less of the whip-drum, and while Alice’s vox till bound, this seems altogether more personal and intimate than anything we’ve heard before. It suits them; in fact I’d go as far as to say that it’s bloody lovely.
