Location: Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk
Dates: 16th – 19th July 2015

With less than three months to go before its 10th annual outing, Latitude Festival has revealed its second wave of acts to appear at Henham Park this summer. Appearing on the festival’s Obelisk Arena stage alongside this year’s headliners Portishead, alt-J and Noel Gallagher’s Flying Birds will be Californian indie-rockers Warpaint, Badly Drawn Boy – who will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the release of The Hour Of Bewilderbeast, by playing this classic album in full – and in what surely promises to be another tremendous outpouring of nostalgia, those Irish new wavers The Boomtown Rats.

Further additions to appear across Latitude’s numerous music stages include The Charlatans, Syrian singer Oscar Souleyman, Roni Size Reprazent, who will be performing a live set, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart and Ezra Furman confirming the incredibly diverse range of musical talent that will be on offer over the weekend.

Not to be outdone by music, the dance and theatre stages have also unveiled some truly exciting news. The premiere of the play taken from Michael Morpergo‘s book The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips will be performed by the Cornwall-based Kneehigh Theatre group. Another play getting its premiere will be Sabrina Mahfouz‘s With A Little Bit of Luck, performed here by the Paines Plough touring theatre company. And the National Theatre Live will present a screening of Everyman. This new production – directed by new artistic director Rufus Norris – stars BAFTA winner and Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave).
