William Bolton is one of Detroit’s brightest new stars. His latest single has been ‘On My Mind‘ for the past few hours, and it’s also been blasting away on my speakers much to the dismay of my neighbours: it is really that good. With the playful and sweet-sounding guitar instrumentation in the background, Willy B, as he’s known on Twitter, opens up to his fans and listeners through these lively yet sincere lyrics. Surprisingly, William Bolton – who’s currently working on an upcoming project called Love Supreme – raps in this release, and it’s fair to say that he kills it because “you can’t even tell if [he’s] singing or if [he’s] spitting bars”. This is the kind of song you drive around to with the windows down and the volume control set to high.
