To what is an already pretty astonishing bill, End Of The Road has just revealed details of its third wave of acts to play at this year’s 10th anniversary of the festival.
Joining headliners Sufjan Stevens, Tame Impala and The War on Drugs – who will be making their only summer UK festival appearance of 2015 – and an incredibly strong supporting cast at Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset this September will be the much vaunted English folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling, that oddball Canadian indie-slacker Mac DeMarco and some twenty two years into their glittering career of seemingly effortless intimacy, Minnesotan trio Low.
Further additions to the line up include Torontonian noise-rock trio METZ, the more home grown talents of Sheffield’s Slow Club and the North East’s Nadine Shah, the retro country soul of The Delines – featuring Richmond Fontaine’s Willy Vlautin – and the wonderfully off-kilter songwriting of Euros Child.
Beyond the more established acts who will appear this year, End Of The Road continues with its grand tradition of promoting new and/or unsigned artists. Out of some 2000 applications, three new acts – Human Pyramids, Miracle Strip and LOVE L.U.V. – have been chosen to perform on the festival’s Woods Stage in 2015.
