JPNSGIRLS the have been called the ‘Canadian Arctic Monkeys’ by some, their punky-electro tinged pop is shot with a whirlwind of melodic energy that’s reminiscent the urgency of the early work of the Strokes the dance-punk grooves of The Rapture and visceral live energy of The Pixies.
The entire album was recorded in just one week at Vancouver’s Greenhouse Studios with producer Steve Bays (Hot Hot Heat, Fur Trade, Mounties) and master ed by world renowned engineer Greg Calbi (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tame Impala, MGMT).
