London duo Alpines recently unveiled the brand new video for latest single Saviour lifted from their debut album ‘Oasis’.
Directed by the groups’ singer Catherine Pockson, shot on the Gower in Wales, the visuals for Saviour feature idyllic backdrops, where cascading hills meet restless coastlines to provide the perfect setting for the emotionally charged piece of music the viewer is presented with. To celebrate we have been given the a behind the scenes look at the making of the video, which see’s singer Catherine Pockson speaking about the experience of directing a video for the fist time. “Having burst onto the scene in 2010, Alpines quickly gained acclaim for their self produced releases and captivating live shows. The last few years have seen the two-piece tour the UK with acts such as Florence & The Machine and The Naked & Famous, as well as collaborating with artists including Sub Focus, Maya Jane Coles and The Maccabees.
The band will be heading to Paris in November for a one off gig before headlining London’s Oslo venue on the 3rd December, followed by their final date of 2014 at the Bristol Fleece.
