Lithuanian-born Londoner Johanna Glaza continues to find her musical self, and it’s starting to get very impressive indeed. Her first EP, back in November, showed off her voice, and was a lovely, if somewhat ethereal affair. Her new single, ‘Letter To New York’ loses nothing of the floating smoke, but now feels like it has a wonderful sense of direction, it’s going somewhere very definite rather than just thinking about it.
I could go on about song structures and all that jazz, or folk, or chamber music, but I won’t. I will just say it’s all as enticing as it is unusual. Scroll down, the whole five track EP is there for your delectation.
