The Airborne Toxic Event bought back the rights of their third album from Universal to release it themselves, which is why Such Hot Blood was so delayed and has just been released in the UK. In support of the album the band just spent a month touring on this side of the pond, and once in London and before their Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig, Gin In tea Cups kidnapped the band and got them to play 3 tunes (the previously unreleased Hell and Back, which will be part of the Dallas Buyers Club soundtrack, All I Ever Wanted and Timeless), along with one of the signature quirky interviews which ended up being about Life, Religion, Fame, Oscar Wilde and Death.
And Kanye West of course.
