More acts have been added to a positively bursting, brilliant bill of local and UK talent all raising money and awareness of Mental health at Cardiff MIND Fest over three venues (Undertone, Four Bars, The Moon Club) on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of November.

The Rockpie Promotions stage at Four Bars at Dempseys on Saturday the 23rd of November has unveiled a long list of quality acts. They include a headlining birth for marvellous local math-poppers We’re No Heroes, the delightful swooning guitar pop of Swansea’s The Adelines and Welsh blues-rock blitz duo Howl.

They are joined by the ’60s infused psych- rock of Love Bazaar, heartbreaking bipolar anti-folk loser MY NAME IS IAN plus Maddie Jones a bombastic live performer whose sound touches upon gypsy, folk, world and jazz music; she will provide an enticing concoction. Meanwhile R&B infused Garage pop band Third Party take things into intriguing directions, and they are preceded by youngsters Junior Bill & The Scallies whose riotous eclectic, rootsy pop music opens the stage.

Meanwhile on The Red Medicine Stage at Undertone on Saturday 23rd November, cult art rockers Gindrinker, brass pop locals Atoms and sublime Welsh folk artist The Gentle Good, (who releases his new record on the Bubblewrap stable) and R.Smith have bolstered an already formidable line up.

While North Walaian Sera a folk/alternative country singer/songwriter from the North Wales town of Caernarfon who has been weaving stories and making music ever since she can remember. She recently opened for Mumford and Sons. Sera joins a impressive list of local and UK acoustic acts at the Making Minds Acoustic stage at the Full Moon on Sunday the 24th of November.

Cardiff MIND Fest is a weekend long festival featuring some amazing local and UK artists across three venues on 23rd/24th November 2013.

Three local promoters (God Is In The TV Zine, Rockpie and Red Medicine) have grouped together to organise a two day event, with the aim of promoting awareness of mental health issues within South Wales. Working with three mental health partner organisations (Cardiff Mind, Journeys and Making Minds) in South Wales, raising funds for Cardiff Mind.
