With ‘Love Life Love Life’ he delivers a moment of delicately heartbreaking beauty, almost sounding like a voice from the afterlife. One of the most under-credited artists of the last twenty years, Jones has an extraordinary ability to be able to pull endless amounts of great music from his creative brain, and this latest offering is up there with his finest works so far. His upcoming solo LP (although he’s released at least 8 low key albums this year as Black Reindeer) is something we should all look forward to.
