Castleton is a tiny Derbyshire village with a population of less than a thousand, two of them happen to be brothers who collaborate to be a band called Drenge. Last week they released a rather good self-titled debut album, which has a blues basement to it but launches itself into a Mod revival and nineties Britpop. Reminded me of Shed Seven at times too, with some fine guitar riffs and great melodies. Have a listen to this.
