Track Of The Day #321: Six By Seven – Fall Into Your Arms

Nottingham’s Six By Seven have been around since 1996, albeit with a four-year break in-between. Well the original line-up is back together again and have just released a rather excellent album, ‘Love And Peace And Sympathy’, which might even be their best ever. They have never received the kind of acclaim they deserved (one top 50 single, one top 100 album, both in 2002) and I doubt they will with this new release. It is however, a superb and compelling indie rock record that requires you to listen up please.

  1. Listened to the album for the first time yesterday and it’s brilliant! By the way this is not the complete original line up (doesnt matter: Chris Olley is the main force), but does feature the notable addition of ex Palcebo and Boo Radleys drummer Steve Hewitt.
