What we have here is another band from Seattle and we all know the weight of legacy therein. This lot are called The Purrs and no they’re not a grunge band. Well, they do include elements of the genre in their music but there’s also some blues and some psychedelia, all of which creates a moody but enticing scene. Their new album is called ‘The Boy With Astronaut Eyes’, which I believe is their third and I know is worth a good listen.
