Gold & Youth are a Canadian quartet who recently released a decent debut album, ‘Beyond Wilderness’. It’s what I can best describe as indie white soul and incorporates elements of a number of influences, possibly Orange Juice (remember them?) on top of the pile. It’s atmospheric, even if over popified in places, and somehow makes for compelling listening. Here’s a sample.
