Budapest Resistance Movement is the latest moniker of producer and DJ, Nick “Mids” Chapman. Better known for low slung deep house & tech grooves as half of the Salon K duo, BRM sees Nick move away from the dance floor and explore his experience as a classically trained musician. However Nick’s roots in electronica can still be heard in his new compositions, with the arrangements comprising long meandering loops and deep basslines punctuated with tough drum patterns. Budapest Resistance Movement is a chance for Nick to focus on soul, depth and to strive for the complete listening experience. Another epic adventure in looping.
