Flash Bang Band release their full length debut album out on 29 July and in the build up to that, 3 singles will be released. The first is ‘If You’re Driving’ which is out digitally on Monday 3rd June. Watch the video below it displays their acidic blend of garage pop very well :
The band signed to Brighton’s At The Helm Records off the back of a live show promoted by the company’s promotions arm in November 2012.
FBB have supported Dananananaykroyd, Tubelord, Star & Dagger (White Zombie / QOTSA), Esben & The Witch, Thomas White (Electric Soft Parade, on special request), The Phoenix Foundation, Cloud Control, Misty’s Big Adventure and loads of others over the last few years. They’ve tapped well into DIY networks which spread across Europe having visited Finland on tour already as well as being invited to Italy, France, Belgium and Germany. A European tour is being booked for the end of the year.
The band made a flying start at that DIY approach producing their own videos, hosting their own live shows and making their own merchandise.
