When punk drifted into the eighties and was battered by fabricated synths, none of the prominent pioneers released credible material, except that is for a certain Dead Kennedys, who banged out some fine stuff. Jello Biafra was the head man of that combo, with a distinctive voice made for punk rock. Well he has emerged in various forms ever since and his latest venture is Jello Biafra And The Guantanamo School Of Medicine, with a new album entitled ‘White People And The Damage Done’.
