Track Of The Day #123: Django Django - Storm

PREVIEW: Field Day Festival

Field Day will be back to Victoria Park this year on 25 May with an unfailingly amazing line up as usual. The big names this year include Mercury Prize 2012 nominee Django Django, Animal Collective and Bat For Lashes. From the Mancunian scene there are Everything Everything and Egyptian Hip Hop, with the latter appearing at the festival with their pal Connan Mockasin.

Newer acts such as East India Youth, Duologue and Jagwar Ma, who have been gigging frequently in the past year are on the bill too. There are also a plentiful of DJs present for the dancier ears. Despite being a day festival, Field Day has a very rich line up that balances both bigger and up-and-coming acts.

Tickets can be purchased online or from various London record shops and venues.

(For those who would like to get their tickets from Rough Trade East, you can choose to pick up a Field Day 2013 taster CD alongside http://www.roughtrade.com/albums/71506)
