Four Swedish guys today who go by the name of I Are Droid.and had an interesting debut album back in 2008, followed by several singles/EPs that showed clear progression. The second album, ‘The Winter Ward’ came out at the end of January and that progression continues, as it’s a very good album indeed. It’s emotive, spirited, rich-layered swooning indie and reminded me a tad of Snow Patrol (an excellent band who get too much unmerited bad press). Have an earful here.
