New York City-based OUR MOUNTAIN have concluded recording their debut LP with producers Kevin McMahon (Walkmen, Swans, Titus Andronicus) & Nick Stumpf (French Kicks, Caveman) at Marcata Studios in upstate New York. OUR MOUNTAIN will release their video ‘IV Horses’ to introduce the new recordings and we’ve been given the world exclusive premiere!!!’IV Horses’ highlights Our Mountain’s brutal brand of experimental-garage-art rock that first pricked our ears up a few years ago with the astounding single ‘Wooden Hearts’, only now they are are deconstructing what it means to be in a rock band with a howling canvas stripped bare humanity trembling on the wires of angularity, it’s perfectly complimented by this strikingly stark video accompaniment:

Directed by David Swanson ‘Four Horses’ was shot in a Bushwick, NY art space. The concept, to show the band in complete vulnerability, no distractions, no tricks, no threads.
“The video is the subject of human anatomy, four humans, bare, still and focused. Our vision was to simplify and condense, strip back to a one dimensional treatment, minimalism, present ourselves for 2:50 and that’s it, that’s enough”
After touring UK with The Slits on their final tour and playing a handful of London shows and festival dates.
