Bad Religion have been consistently releasing albums since 1982 and the sixteenth one, ‘True North’, is out this week. Greg Graffin has never adopted a traditional punk image and, at the age of 48, is unlikely to do so now. The band, however, epitomise what punk rock has always been about and that’s high energy blasts of melodious songs with an infectious punch. They haven’t really altered their sound much during their existence, so if you’re not already a fan, this one won’t convert you. I am and so it’s another solid definitive punk record to add to their and my collections. They remain top of their league.
