Staying in the U.S. of A., Free Energy hark from Philadelphia and, rather like the brand name, are a cheesy offering. They play seventies style rock from a period when bands were trying to bridge the gap between heavy metal and pop. They get the trick spot on to be fair, but that doesn’t make it any good. The album is ‘Love Sign’ and is limp wristed slush that only merits Bummer Album Of The Week right here right now.
