The season of goodwill is now well behind us, so it’s time to restart the Bummer Album Of The Week series. First of the year is a band called Ra Ra Riot, who have been gaining steam with two previous albums, neither of which appealed. I was hoping the third one might locate a little more credibility but sadly not. It’s entitled ‘Beta Love’ and full of banal indie pop, which is far too over pop-ulated. Not big and not clever – Bummer.
