My Bloody Valentine have announced on their Facebook page that they have finished mastering their new album and that it is ready for release in 2013. It read: “On 21-12-12 we finished mastering the new album!” So even if the world didn’t end that day, something pretty momentous happened.’
The album, that Kevin Shields talked about earlier this year is apparently finally ready. According to Louder than war: “The drum tracks were laid down a long time ago he told us with his bother playing many of the parts until Colm came back and played them and then the rest of the album was finished off and that he had been working away on his own laying down most of the guitar parts on his own before Belinda came in to sing the vocals and will be released via the band’s website.”
