It’s grey, it’s horrible, I got locked out of my flat this morning and I’m very tired. On the plus side, it’s Friday so let’s have a bit more fun. This week I want to know what the first album you ever bought was? I have wrestled with the memory of my first actual buy, I remember we had the Simpsons LP on vinyl in the house but I don’t think I bought it. I also remember our cassette of Tracy Chapman’s excellent debut was worn to distraction in my mother’s car. But I don’t think I was 12 or 13 until I actually bought my first proper album, after much searching of the racks I believe it was Nirvana’s fine fuzz punk debut ‘Bleach’ on tape!
