Marion Crane was the unfortunate lady stabbed to death in the shower by Norman Bates. In this particular case, however, it’s a metal band from Florida, who have just released a rather fine debut album in the form of ‘The New Religion’. It’s taken the band three years to assemble and is very good indeed. Hardcore metal fans will inform me this is not real metal and I’m grateful for that, for this indie rock pussy professes it to be his top metal album of the year. Go listen.
