Bristolian noir pop act An Axe have announced that their debut album, ‘She is Dust’, will be released on Monday 19th November.
According to the band: ‘She is Dust’ is ten tracks of strident rock ‘n’ roll and devilish crooning.”
Physical and digital pre-orders are now being taken at http://anaxe.bandcamp.com/. Once your pre-order is placed, you’ll be in possession of two tracks keep you going until release date – the stomping ‘Big Cat’ and raucous surf-crooner ‘Ink’ – the songs are also streaming here right now.
The album was recorded by Ali Chant at Toybox Studios and mastered by Bob Weston of Shellac. The CD features a classy sleeve design by Mr James A. Holland, and promises to be a beautiful package.
The record also includes ‘Sin & Sophia’ , a duet featuring the haunting vocals of Jill O’Sullivan of Sparrow and the Workshop.
