Linkin Park blend rock and rap to great effect and I’ve always liked the Offspring’s take on mixing pop into rock. I don’t know exactly into which category The Script fit, but their third album, imaginatively titled ‘#3’ is just out and it fits neatly in my dustbin. As David Bowie (one of the greatest exponents of pop rock) once said, “this ain’t rock n roll, this is genocide”. Bummer Album Of The Week.
