It’s like the magic of time travel. Bat For Lashes new and eagerly anticipated album “The Haunted Man” will be released on 15th October 2012. The second ‘official’ single ‘All Your Gold’ won’t be out until 29th Oct, and yet we can listen to it right here and now with all its djembe bounce and silvery shimmer of plucked strings.
It’s a tad confusing because ‘Laura’ and ‘Marilyn’ are already out there, released into the wild. I’m not complaining in the least though, as it means we now have 3 songs from what is promising to be an album that will encompass all of Bat For Lashes previous sorcery and meld it with new found maturity – some sort of musical post honeymoon reality and breaking dawn optimism.
