I believe it’s no coincidence that the band Crocodiles share their name with an Echo & The Bunnymen album. Like several other worthy new bands, there’s certainly a heavy debt towards the best band that ever came from Liverpool. Crocodiles (the band) are a very long way from Merseyside however, in San Diego and I first came across them with their second album in 2010. It’s was good without being great but I made a mental note to keep a watching brief. Well thank Dog I did, because they have just released album number three, ‘Endless Flowers’ and it is wondrous! Listen and investigate further.
