“Her Fantasy’ is the lead single from inventive New York DJ/artist Matthew Dear’s fourth album ‘Beams’ which is available August 27th (EU/UK) & 28th (North America).Her Fantasy’s looping insistently gloopy summer groove is croaked through with Dear’s almost Bowie-like timbre, before releasing a celebration of kaleidoscopic of chants threaded with psych-sweeps, it’s like opening your eyes for the first time and finding the madness of the modern world totally dizzing. It’s wonderful and today’s soundtrack to this sweltering week.
Director Tommy O’Haver’s video for “Her Fantasy” takes us on a journey through bizarre sequences of debauchery and seduction with a hint of humor, as he pays homage to Avant Garde filmmaker Kenneth Anger in a self-described “mash-up”, watch it below.
