What a fantastic band name Bitch Prefect is. So much so, that I just had to grab a listen to their latest album ‘Big Time’. Truly awful! I know nothing of the band and do not intend to find out, so let’s hope this is their debut album and final one. It’s a lot of simple guitar chords with a soulless blues feel and featuring some tuneless vocals that get under your skin. Add to that some of the most banal lyrics I’ve heard for yonks (“I ran into the country and I climbed up a tree. I fell out the fucker and I grazed my knee”) and it’s definitely one to avoid – Bummer Album of the Week.
