If you’re from a certain era, the term ‘mix tape’ will always conjure memories of home-spun collections of music, assembled with love on cassette. Foals have used these memories as the inspiration for the latest installation in the !K7 label’s Tapes series, covering music of personal significance to the band, complete with a ‘side A’ and ‘side B.’ You can hear the first 10 minutes of their intimate and eclectic mix on their Soundcloud below, and the first 200 pre-orders of the album via Rough Trade< will receive a special limited edition cassette containing music from the mix.
