George Lewis Jr is from the Dominican Republic and performs under the moniker Twin Shadow. His second album ‘Confess’ is out now and it’s well worth a listen. It will be tagged as ‘new wave’ and has a soulful undercurrent, with a very eighties feel to it. Reminded me of one-man band Black who had a hit with ‘Wonderful Life’, although he wasn’t…black that is, nor that good really!
