The zoopraxiscopic video for Dark Lights Shine Loud is Gabriel’s second collaboration with Ferry Gouw (Diplo, Roxy Music). Watch it below. It is the first release from recordings that make up Gabriel’s forthcoming album, produced and mixed by Craig Silvey (The Horrors, The Arcade Fire).
The track is taken from ‘Dark Lights Shine Loud / A Brief And Selfish Lover’ an EP made up of two album tracks and three home recordings, you can listen to it on soundcloud below. Dark Lights Shine Loud exhibits a more upbeat madcap side to Bruce’s personality from the more sedate melancholia of Sleep and teases his forthcoming album delightfully.
Gabriel Bruce is back with the two part EP ‘Dark Lights, Shine Loud’ / A Brief And Selfish Lover’. It’s the follow up to his astonishing debut 7”, ‘Sleep Paralysis’. He’s supporting this with a London residency of shows announced for the Electricity Showrooms on the following dates:
