On Friday 1st of June, the team behind Outlook festival will be descending on a secret London location for a night of progressive underground electronic music. The event marks the launch of what looks like one of the summer’s best electronic music festivals, ‘Dimensions’.
The festival, which runs from 6th – 9th of September, is set against a Mediterranean backdrop, in the breathtaking abandoned Fort Punta Christo. It’ll host groundbreaking artists like Detroit’s Moodymann, Sweden’s Little Dragon, London’s Four Tet and Berlin techno pioneer Marcel Dettmann. Day time beach parties taking place on Croatia’s beautiful beaches, boats that take you out into the setting sun and all night raving at the fort.
The party itself is hosted by Eglo Records and will feature innovative new artists like Floating Points, Alex Nut, Mala and Synkro.
Expectations will be high for anyone who attended their last London event (the Outlook launch party), where a unique venue and incredible DJs made it feel more like an exclusive warehouse rave than a festival launch. We can only hope that Dimensions will come up with something even better.
At £10 a ticket, it looks like a great way to kick of the festival season and get a taste of what’s to come in Croatia this September.
