North East sinister post-punk-indie types The Chapman Family are back with their new EP ‘CRUEL BRITANNIA’ set to be released on their new home Best Before Records on the 18/6/12! As a taster of what’s to come, the band have just premiered ‘This English Life’, the third track off the EP, on youtube. Showcasing their brooding brand of Smiths-esque bile filled vitriol towards a recession hit, crumbling sense of English identity.
New line-up changes see TCF expand to five members (Kingsley vocals/keyboard, Pop lead guitar, Owen guitar, Scott drums and Kevin bass) reaching a new level of intensity live, while broadening their creative reach in the studio.
