It was a while back that I had a swipe at the Aussies for having adopted shit music from The US when even they became tired of 80s hard man rock. That remains true, but there are always exceptions. Here is an Australian band who don’t have inappropriate volumes of hair or insist that every song has a guitar solo. They’re called Deep Sea Arcade and play 60s influenced indie pop. Their debut album, “Outlands” has been out for a month now and is really quite enjoyable, so listen to ‘Lonely In Your Arms’ below if you feel so inclined.
