Cardiff pop collective The School released their new single ‘Never Thought I’d See The Day’ on last week (Mon 26th March). Watch the new video for this bright organ dappled, love struck tune, here:

 

 

Released by Elefant Records on limited edition white vinyl and download, the single has 4 tracks including b-side covers of Jonathan Richman and The Honeydrips.

Lead track ‘Never Thought I’d See The Day’ and AA-side ‘Where Does Your Heart Belong?’ will feature on their new album ‘Reading Too Much Into Things Like Everything’ which is out 14th May.

The album is a follow up to debut ‘Loveless Unbeliever’ which made over 70 ‘Best Of 2010’ lists, was 6Music’s Album of the Day, Rough Trade’s Album of the Week and Radio Nowhere’s Album of the Year.

The band are headlining the NOW WE ARE WEEKENDER on Sun 8th April at The Public in West Bromwich, before heading out on tour with THE PRIMITIVES in May.
