Back to tubthumping indie again today. The band are called Tribes, who had a couple of very good EPs last year and released the debut album a few weeks ago. It’s in yer face indie and therefore the NME are already lining them up for a ‘best new band’ award. Think of Beady Eye without the inflated ego/attitude and if that thought doesn’t appeal, Tribes won’t either. They will probably end up down theRazorKlaxonWombatView chute eventually but, for now, I find them entertaining.
